A VIN lookup may surface recorded exterior and interior colors and upholstery details. Availability depends on the vehicle and the source; the VIN characters themselves usually do not contain a paint code. Catalog options, listing observations and factory build records are different kinds of evidence. Confirm the vehicle label before ordering paint.

No. HEX and RGB describe an approximate screen color, not an automotive paint formula. Metallic and pearl finishes, lighting, paint aging and your display all change how a color looks. We show these values only when the catalog supplies them. Use the vehicle label and a paint supplier to confirm the correct repair product.

Some catalog entries include only a color name, or omit the code, numeric color values or fabric information. Missing details are marked as not supplied. Check the vehicle label or owner documentation, or try the VIN lookup for additional records. An empty result does not mean the vehicle has no paint code.

A roof, accent or lower-body color may use a separate code. Check every relevant label entry rather than assuming one code covers the whole vehicle. Catalog and historical records cannot establish the current paint on a repainted car; a paint supplier or body shop can help match the existing finish.
